Quick Mindfulness Techniques for Calming Emotions and Finding Peace Using the 3 Main Channels.

This blog is for the person who has an existing Bon, Buddhist or Eastern meditation practice.  This may be used a quick reminder during you r busy day.

  1. Keep your spine straight, chest slightly open, chin slightly down. Picture the three main channels, Red, White and Blue.
  2. Remember to focus on the awareness you have developed, perhaps including the sense of who you are, of which poison (anger or attachment) you are feeling and need to alleviate.
  3. Bring forth the sense of feeling any obstacles, perhaps pain you may be feeling – either physically, emotionally, spiritually or mentally. This may be felt in your right channel.
  4. Releasing Anger: Using the ring finger of the left hand, block left nostril and inhale slowly thorough the right nostril. Bring the breath, that clean, fresh air, through the right channel, holding the breath at the base. Switch your ring finger to the left nostril, exhaling with a quick blast at the end of the exhale. Repeat 3 times.
  5. There will be a release in the channel of obstacles, anger and resulting exhaustion from carrying the anger. Your right channel will feel brighter, clearer, more open and relaxed.
  6. Bring forth, in this moment, the awareness of any attachments that are hindering you today. Consider any actions that are related to attachment, through speech or emotions that are related to attachment. These will also bring a collapse in your ability to utilize speech in a production, helpful manner.  These blockages will appear in you r body in your left channel. 
  1. Releasing Attachment: Using the ring finger of the right hand, block right nostril and inhale slowly thorough the left nostril. Bring the breath, that clean, fresh air, through the left channel, holding the breath at the base. Switch your ring finger to the right nostril, exhaling with a quick blast at the end of the exhale.  Repeat 3 times.
  2. There will be a release in the channel of obstacles, attachment and resulting exhaustion from carrying the attachment. Your left channel will feel brighter, clearer, more open and relaxed.
  3. Releasing Ignorance or Fear: Any phenomenon of fear (ignorance), doubt related to self, your life, future, or others/relationships. Any manifestation of fear is exhausting, takes energy and is often repeated. Above all know that this is particularly draining on your energy, mentally, emotionally, physical and spiritually.
  4. This exhaustion will be felt in the central channel, the center or core of your being.
  5. As you take deep, clean, fresh breath through both nostrils, sense the increase in energy that flows through your body.
  6. As you exhale through both nostrils, relish the cleansing and uplifting effect that you are experiencing. Bring the exhale to the crown, clearing all obstacles. The deep-seated doubt that has been plaguing you is released. Bringing in this beautiful light, illuminating all three channels, relaxing, brightening, glowing with clarity. Refreshed in body, speech and mind.

 

Enjoy the release of any tension, any pain, any effort to continue with your day or evening.   Feel free to fully rest. Continue to breath in the clear, fresh air.
